A NEW COLOR IS BORN. The BLUES by kyky phenomenon began in 1994 with two founders: Karen Kupferschmiedt and Yliana Yépez. The original idea was to create something feminine, sexy, modern and original to exceed their expectations and break up the monotony of what existed in the market. From this idea, twelve striking belts were made that caused an excited buzz among their friends.

The demand for new products was immediate. The creation of a handbag and a backpack inspired by the original belt was the beginning. Since then, they have created a new handbag line for each season. Wearing a BLUES by kyky handbag was synonymous with carrying up- to- date accessories. People talked about its leather cut and striking designs.

By 1998, Karen and Yliana had left behind their small studio and opened their first store, located in a prestigious shopping center in the Gran Caracas. It was a space designed to match the spirit of the brand and quickly expanded to three other shopping centers, including the Fashion Mall in Caracas. With the opening of the stores, prestigious brands as renowned as Rafe, Jamine Puech, Carlos Falchi, Moyna and Isabella Fiore, lived side by side with the glamorous collections of BLUES by kyky for the delight of all their clients. Soon, BLUES by kyky had established itself as the top accessories brand in Venezuela and launched its own unique jewelry line.
